Yvette Loynaz is a fundraiser, leader, and opera singer committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the arts and building community around the arts. She currently serves as the Director of Individual Giving at New World Symphony (NWS) in Miami and is a member of Sphinx LEAD, a professional empowerment program for arts leaders of color. Before joining NWS, Ms. Loynaz worked as a professional opera singer in Europe with a passion for new works and reimagining opera experiences. She is co-founder and former Artistic Director of Bang-up! Opera, a global pop-up opera troupe that creates opera experiences in unexpected and accessible ways. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and Post-Graduate Certificate in Opera from Operastudio Vlaanderen in Belgium. She previously served as Administrative Director and Voice Faculty at Manhattan School of Music’s Precollege Division and is an alumna of young artist programs at Caramoor, Glimmerglass, and Aspen music festivals.
