This season is bigger than big; it’s Texas-sized big!
From some of the best and biggest voices in the world to some of the boldest dramas live on stage, this season showcases why The Dallas Opera is the place to be.
Start the season with some of opera’s most popular tunes in a captivating rendition of the beloved THE ELIXIR OF LOVE. Clever charm and vibrant colors delight in Barrie Kosky’s production of Janáček’s THE CUNNING LITTLE VIXEN, which is making its North American debut.
Two-time Grammy Award®-winning composer Christopher Tin delivers a bold new ending to Puccini’s unfinished work. TURANDOT brings mystery, adventure, and plenty of drama to Dallas, with Tin’s partner, Succession writer Susan Soon He Stanton. This epic masterpiece fills the stage, the orchestra pit, and our hearts with the power of love.
Lastly, revel in a climactic season finale with Wagner’s heroic myth, LOHENGRIN. Director Louis Désiré, the force behind last season’s Don Carlo, returns to direct this premiere production of one of Wagner’s most beautiful masterpieces.
