The Dallas Opera strives to nurture and support artists throughout their careers. Through our Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors, we offer residencies to talented conductors from across the globe. Our university partnerships help young singers and actors hone their craft on a grand stage, while our Opera Guild Vocal Competition showcases the talents of aspiring singers as they begin their careers.

The Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors
This unique and internationally well-publicized program includes hands-on conducting opportunities with The Dallas Opera Orchestra; master classes with music director of The Dallas Opera, Emmanuel Villaume, renowned Italian maestro Carlo Montanaro, and TDO’s Principal Guest Conductor, Nicole Paiement; seminars and sessions with prominent leaders in classical music and opera.
