We do not have a formal dress code and most patrons tend to wear business or business casual attire. It is common to see more casual attire on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons, and more formal attire on Opening Night and weekend evenings.
Can I take public transportation?
Whether you’re coming from far North Dallas or the other side of the Trinity River, you can arrive by DART rail, exiting at the Pearl Street DART station located just a few short blocks from the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.
Where is the closest parking?
Limited underground parking beneath the Winspear is available in the Lexus Red Garage. Reserved parking is available as a benefit to our Inner Circle members. Limited accessible parking spaces are also available. Parking is also available at the Hall Arts Garage and One Arts Plaza, just a short walk from the Winspear.
Lexus Red Parking, beneath the Winspear, may be purchased at the entrance on the day of the performance as capacity allows. The entrance is on Jack Evans St. facing Booker T. Washington High School. Once you exit your vehicle, wayfinding and safety signs will be prominently located in the parking garage and elevators to notify audiences how to proceed safely to the Winspear. The elevators allow a maximum of four people at a time. If you prefer not to take the elevator, stairs or escalator (if operational) are alternative options. Please plan to arrive early so you have ample time. Inner Circle members will still enjoy the benefit of reserved parking on the 2nd level.
Lexus Silver Parking, beneath the Wyly, may also be purchased at the entrance on the day of the performance as capacity allows, and is also accessible from Jack Evans St. at Ross Ave.
Parking at One Arts Plaza (paid) is just a short walk away from the Winspear and offers convenient access to the restaurants in the One Arts Plaza courtyard. It is accessible from Wade St., just off Routh St. across from Booker T. Washington High School.

Where is the Winspear Opera House?
The Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center is located between Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Ross Avenue at the eastern end of the Arts District, next door to the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Via DART: Take the Blue, Green, Orange, or Red line toward downtown Dallas and exit at the Pearl Street DART Rail Station. AT&T Performing Arts Center (including the Winspear) is 3 blocks north and 1 block east at Flora Avenue and Leonard Street.
From US 75 North / I-45 South: Take US 75/I-45 toward downtown Dallas. Merge onto Woodall Rodgers Fwy., exit at Pearl Street. Take an immediate left on Woodall Rodgers service road. Turn right off of the service road onto Jack Evans St.
From I-35: Take I-35 toward downtown Dallas. Merge onto Woodall Rodgers Fwy., exit at Pearl Street. Take an immediate right on Woodall Rodgers service road. Turn right off of the service road onto Jack Evans Street.
From Dallas North Tollway: Take Dallas North Tollway South. Dallas North Tollway becomes Pearl Street; continue on Pearl Street into downtown Dallas. Take an immediate left on Woodall Rodgers service road. Turn right off of the service road onto Jack Evans Street.
From I-30: Take I-30 toward downtown Dallas. Merge onto I-35 North. Merge onto Woodall Rodgers Fwy., exit at Pearl Street. Take an immediate left on Woodall Rodgers service road. Turn right off of the service road onto Jack Evans Street.
Are Educator Tickets Available?
The Dallas Opera offers $25 Educator Tickets beginning 90 minutes prior to every performance at the Box Office, based on availability. These tickets are available to educators for walk-up sales at the Box Office with a valid school ID. Limit two tickets per valid Educator ID.
Are Student Tickets Available?
The Dallas Opera offers $15 Student Tickets beginning 90 minutes prior to every performance at the Box Office, based on availability. Student tickets for select events are also available in advance on our website. These tickets are available to students attending in groups of 10 or more with their school (purchased in advance through Group Sales), or for walk-up sales at the Box Office with a valid Student ID. Limit two tickets per valid Student ID.
