A cast change for the Dallas Opera’s upcoming production of Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s “Die tote Stadt” puts an exciting American soprano in the dual role of Marie/Marietta. Critically acclaimed American soprano Mardi Byers as Marie/Marietta, has replaced Danish soprano Ann Petersen.
