Originally from Bedford, Indiana, Will Upham is a second-year graduate student studying Vocal Performance at Southern Methodist University with Professor Clifton Forbis. He recently graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Political Science. Will is the current Opera Manager for the SMU Meadows Lyric Theatre and a Staff Singer at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He also teaches voice lessons to high school students from his hometown via Zoom. Will’s most recent roles include Alfredo Germont (cover) in La traviata, Il Principe Aprile in La bella dormente nel bosco, Jamie Wellerstein in The Last Five Years, Dori van Damm in The Red Mill, Harry MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie, and Le Prince Charmant in Cendrillon.
