Viktor Antipenko tenor, has been praised for his effortless, expensive sound and excellent technique. After a successful debut in the role of Enzo Grimaldo in La Gioconda last season, Mr. Antipenko returns to Landestheather Innsbruck to perform the role of Gabriele Adorno in Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra. Later this season Viktor will debut the role of Siegmund in Wagner’s Die Walküre and the role of Florestan in Beethoven’s Fidelio, both in Theater Chemnitz. Future performances include a concert performance of Jewish Folk Poetry by Shostakovich in Kassel, his debut with The Dallas Opera in a new production of The Golden Cockerel, as well as, Meistersinger (Walther von Stolzing), Lohengrin (title role) in Chemnitz, and Iolanta (Prince Vaudemont) in New National Theater in Tokyo.
