Tshilidzi Ndou, Baritone holds a BA, Music Degree from North West University, South Africa and a Performers Diploma in Voice, from Southern Methodist University, where he currently pursues his Master of Music in Vocal Performance Degree as student of Professor Barbara Hill-Moore. Tshilidzi has Performed roles including Count Almaviva, in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, NWU 2016; Mr Webb, in Ned Rorem’s Our Town, SMU 2019; Luther Billis, in Rogers and Hammersteines’ South Pacific, SMU-in-South-Africa 2019; Guglielmo, in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte, SMU 2020, and Mayor in Georges Bizet’s Doctor Miracle, The Dallas Opera Education Outreach 2020/21. Other performances include Mozart’s Requiem (bass soloist), Pretoria 2017, and Free State Arts Festival 2017. Tshilidzi was named District Winner and Western region encouragement award winner, at the 2020 MONCA competition; first place district winner, at the Mary E. Singletary NVAC, 2020, and first at NATS National, 2020.
