T. Hastings Reeves (The Mayor) Bass-baritone, had previous performing opportunities include the Pittsburgh Festival Opera as a guest artist, performing the roles of Benoit and Alcindoro (La Bohéme); performing a variety of works from Bach to Mussorgsky to Weill at the Tanglewood Music Center in 2016 under the tutelage of Dawn Upshaw, Sanford Sylvan, Margo Garrett and other faculty; performing at the UNT Opera Theatre in the roles of Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro), the Forester (Cunning Little Vixen), Leporello (Don Giovanni), and Mephistopheles (Faust). He has enjoyed performing in the TDO’s Education Outreach program as Colas (Bastien und Bastienne) and Wolfgang Bigbad (Three Little Pigs). Mr. Reeves currently studies with Stephen Morscheck and is in the second year of his doctoral studies.
