Silken Kelly started her journey in ballet at the Academy of Colorado Ballet, before moving on to train at the Houston Ballet Academy. As a professional ballet dancer, Silken has graced the stages of prestigious companies such as Houston Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Cleveland Ballet. She has been a guest performer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Sweetbird Production’s touring sensation “Rock the Ballet,” and Eglevsky Ballet. Silken is currently a soloist in her first season with Golden State Ballet in San Diego, California. Ms. Kelly has also founded her own company, Contingent Ballet that has had successful virtual performances, and has been part of a film festival for three consecutive years, creating and directing original dance films. In addition, she has seamlessly transitioned into the world of acting, garnering recognition for her work with a supporting role in a movie and a mini-series for TV.
