This season, soprano Sarah Tucker made her international debut as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi with the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy in Japan. She also performed as the soprano soloist in Stravinsky’s Les Noces with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center, reprised the role of First Memory in Lembit Beecher’s War Stories with Opera Philadelphia, and returned to Santa Fe Opera to sing Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos. In 2019, she will sing Micaëla in Carmen with San Diego Opera. In recent seasons, Ms. Tucker sang with San Francisco Opera as Jano in Jenufa, and with Utah Opera as Micaëla in Carmen. She was a National Semifinalist in the 2014 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and a recent member of the Arizona Opera Studio.
