Matthew Corcoran (Silvio/Pasquin/Doctor Miracle) is a current Performance Diploma student at Southern Methodist University. Matt is a newcomer to Texas having grown up in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Matt received his Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and his Master’s of Music from Boston University. Matt has performed the roles of Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Remendado in Carmen, Brother in The Seven Deadly Sins as well as premiered various roles and works for local Boston area composers. As well, Matt has sung the tenor solos for many concert works and oratorio such as Handel’s Messiah, Verdi’s Requiem, Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C Minor, and Ariel Ramirez’ Missa Criolla.
