Soprano Katherine Spellmon grew up around the United States and Germany as a military child. Spellmon received a vocal performance bachelor’s degree from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a vocal performance master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. Her roles include Little Mary Sunshine (Little Mary Sunshine), Barbarina (The Marriage of Figaro), Laeticia (The Old Maid and the Thief), Angelina (Trial by Jury), and Despina (Così fan tutte).
