Jean François Borras is considered one of the great tenors of his generation. He made his debut as Roméo in Gounod in Trieste, Verona and Genoa, and as Rodolfo in La Bohème in Trieste, Aachen and Graz. Since 2007 he has been performing on the most important world stages. Recently he has interpreted the roles of Le Chevalier Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut at Opéra Bastille and Wiener Staatsoper, and Raimbaut in Robert le Diable at Covent Garden, among others. Mr. Borras made his debut at The Metropolitan Opera in Werther to great critical acclaim. His future engagements include, among others, Werther and La Traviata at Wiener Staasoper, Faust at Staatsoper in Hamburg, Carmen at Opera Hong Kong, and Mefistofele at Orange Festival.
