Gabriella Reyes, a Nicaraguan-American member of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Program, she made her debut in the 2018/19 season as the High Priestess in Aida. Other roles at the Met include Nella in Gianni Schicchi and the First Lady in The Magic Flute. Highlights of recent seasons include her Santa Fe Opera debut as Musetta in La bohème, and First Lady in excerpts from The Magic Flute with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Gustavo Dudamel, This season, she returns to the Met as Liu in Turandot and First Lady in The Magic Flute and makes her Bayerische Staatsoper Munich debut in the world premiere of the Seven Deaths of Maria Callas. A 2019 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist (Metropolitan Opera), she was also a grand finalist in the 2017 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory.
