The bass-baritone, who debuted at TDO as a chorus member in Aida (2012), has since been heard as the Sergeant/La bohème. Harrison is a graduate of the Master of Music program at Southern Methodist University, where he studied under Barbara Hill-Moore, Martha Gerhart, and Simon Sargon. He has appeared in the title role/Gianni Schicchi and the title role/The Marriage of Figaro in productions at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival. Performances with the Lyric Opera of South Texas include the Sacristan/Tosca and Benoit and Alcindoro/La bohème. Harrison won the 2017 Outstanding Apprentice Award from Sarasota Opera’s apprenticeship program for his work in the company’s productions of Madama Butterfly and Stanislaw Moniuszko’s rarely heard opera Halka. Other roles include Rev. Olin Blitch/Susannah and Dulcamara/The Elixir of Love.
