    Music Has No Borders

    Available through March 5, 2022 on thedallasopera.TV

Pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy this wonderful show with your favorite person—or all by yourself!

Imagine you’re joining the audience in an intimate nightclub—and then sit back and experience! Led by chanteuse Marina Viotti, four internationally renowned musicians and one incredible dancer tell a story about love in five chapters—the loss of love, the seduction, the solitude, the impossible love, and the eternal love.

Chanson and opera arias, jazz and cabaret, striking dance including a smoky tango—this show’s a joyous and creative mixture of genres that entertains at every level!

Music by Debussy, Piaf, Bizet, Satie, Bolcom, Rossini, the Buena Vista Social Club, and more.

Produced by Opéra de Lausanne in collaboration with Marina Viotti.

    Meet the artists:

Marina Viotti—a mesmerizing mezzo who’s equally at home singing jazz or an Edith Piaf ballad as she is starring on major opera stages including La Scala.

Gabriel Bianco—recognized as one of today’s finest classical guitarists, he’s appeared at prestigious venues and festivals in more than 40 countries.

Gerry Lopez—this renowned Mexican saxophonist performs worldwide and is the founder of the National Jazz Orchestra of Mexico.

Todd Camburn—solo artist, opera coach, and vocal accompanist—this American pianist is engaged by myriad important musical entities including the Salzburg Festival.

Oscar Chacon—Dancer and choreographer extraordinaire, his credits include serving as artistic director of South America’s Columbian ballet company.
