
Kristian Roberts is an arts leader, educator, and speaker. Roberts is The Dallas Opera’s Director of Education, designing and overseeing programs to provide multilayered learning experiences for students, adults, and performing and teaching artists. Roberts is also co-host for the company’s outdoor simulcasts and has performed as a member of The Dallas Opera Chorus. She was also co-host of the virtual series “Taking the Stage with Kristian and Quo,” where she engaged audiences in conversations about community, DEI, business practices, humanity, and how these connect to the arts. Roberts serves on OPERA America’s Racial Justice Opera Network Steering Committee. She has been a judge for National Association of Negro Musicians Vocal Competition, The Donald W. Wood, Sr. Vocal Competition, and Booker T. Washington HSPVA Aria Competition. Roberts holds a master’s degree in vocal performance from Southern Methodist University, with additional studies in music history, and a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Baylor University.
