Jingqi Zhu is a conductor and pianist who has led professional orchestras across the US and abroad, including the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, Bodensee Philharmonie, Spokane Symphony, and Syracuse Orchestra. A Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors Class of 2024 fellow, Zhu later served as assistant conductor and pianist for TDO’s La traviata (2024) and CARMEN (2025) productions. In 2025, Zhu was named the inaugural Martha R. and Preston A. Peak Fellow at The Dallas Opera.
