Doron Schachter has been chief editor for the Bridge Records label since 2007. He is also former treasurer of the Audio Engineering Society. He holds an M.A. in violin performance from Purchase College of the State University of New York (where he has also taught courses in recording and mixing for musicians, as well as creative recording techniques) and a B.F.A. in Audio and Technology/Classical Violin Performance from the City College of New York.
