The Emmy and Canadian Screen Award winner works internationally as a wig builder, stylist, and make-up artist. She began her career in an apprenticeship with the Canadian Opera Company (Toronto), and upon completion was offered the first assistant’s position. A recognized industry specialist with more than 25 years of experience in opera, film, television, theater, and commercials, Rivard earned her first Emmy Award as a member of the hair and makeup teams for the television production of Feast of All Saints (2002). She earned the Canadian Screen Award Winner for Achievement for Hair on a Feature Film for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2014).
