
Hilda McClure is the COO at Cannenta Center for Healing and Empowerment, a founding board member at the Cannenta Foundation, and holds a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University. She’s a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in adult therapy, trained in EMDR therapy, and a trauma-focused bilingual counselor.
Driven by her passion for helping children and youth overcome trauma and mental health challenges, Hilda developed an evidence-based program for children in residential care with single mothers. She’s provided extensive counseling to individuals dealing with childhood trauma, mental illness, depression, anxiety, and life stressors.
Hilda is committed to helping others reach their best selves by sharing her expertise, training professionals on serving Hispanic families and understanding acculturation. She’s authored articles on LinkedIn and presented on child development and psychology theories. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Christian.
