What is the story of The Little Prince?

After crashing his plane in the desert, a Pilot meets the Little Prince, a mysterious boy who asks him to draw a sheep. As they talk, the Prince reveals he comes from a tiny planet called Asteroid B612, where he cares deeply for a beautiful but vain Rose. Wanting to understand her better, he left his planet and visited others, meeting a King, a Vain Man, a Drunkard, a Businessman, and a Lamplighter—each consumed by their own foolish pursuits.
On Earth, the Prince encounters a Snake, who offers to help him return home, and a wise Fox, who teaches him that “taming” means forming bonds that make someone unique and beloved. Meanwhile, the Pilot and the Prince grow close as they struggle to find water in the desert. When they finally discover a well, the Prince tells the Pilot he must go back to his planet and his Rose. Despite the Pilot’s protests, the Prince bids him an emotional farewell, leaving behind a sense of wonder, loss, and love.
