This year she debuted Violetta in La traviata and Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette in a touring production with Utah Valley Operafest. In 2022 she was an artist in the prestigious Aspen Music Festival And School, where she covered the role of Alice in Verdi’s Falstaff, conducted by Patrick Summers, alongside acclaimed bass-baritone Bryn Terfel in the title role. Burshe’s past credits include lyric soprano roles such as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, the title role in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Handel’s Alcina, Contessa Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, and Anna-Viola in Raphaël Lucas’s Confession. She is a two-time Encouragement Award Winner in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and a top-10 finalist in the Classical Singer Vocal Competition.
