Although The Dallas Opera Orchestra, by necessity, is largely out of sight during most performances, there’s no doubt that this group of professional musicians forms the backbone of every Dallas Opera production—providing atmosphere, artistry, high drama and consistent vocal support.

On one of the rare occasions when the orchestra performed in concert, a local music critic recognized that even without all the trappings of opera, the ensemble “played with spirit and finesse.”
