Among his other engagements in recent seasons have been the title role/Don Giovanni in his return to Wolf Trap Opera; Masetto/Don Giovanni with Arizona Opera (where he has also sung Escamillo/Carmen and Colline/La bohème) and Cincinnati Opera; Bartolo/The Marriage of Figaro with On Site Opera; Alidoro/La cenerentola with Nashville Opera and Opera Saratoga; and Brutamonte in Schubert’s rarely heard opera Fierrabras with the Bard Music Festival. Appearances with major orchestras include Masetto/Don Giovanni for his symphonic debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel conducting; Handel’s Messiah with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra; and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the National Symphony Orchestra.
