Ndumiso Nyoka, tenor, was born in South Africa and graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he sang the roles of Alfredo in La Traviata, Tony in West Side Story, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, and Colin in Le Devin du Village. Additionally, Ndumiso performed in The Proms and the Muziqanto National Classical Vocal Competition. Other roles include Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Lieutenant Joseph Cable in South Pacific, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore and Enoch Snow in Carousel. Mr. Nyoka was also a participant in the 2013 Nelson Mandela Day celebration in Paris, France.
Ndumiso is in his third year as a TDO Education Artist, and is currently working toward his Master of Music in Voice Performance at SMU, where he received his Performers Diploma in 2017.
