Keon K. Nickie holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance and Choreography from Long Island University. Mr. Nickie has studied with The Ailey School, Balance Dance Theatre, Ballet Hispanico, Cheryl Byron and Something Positive, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Eclectic Dance Theatre, and Purelements. Mr. Nickie has been partof the Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, DanceWorks Chicago and Chicago Repertory Ballet, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, performing nationally and internationally, live with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico. In 2014, Mr. Nickie performed with The Dallas Opera in Samson and Delilah and understudied in The Pearl Fishers.
