On the advice of medical experts, and with the full safety of our artists, patrons, and staff of paramount importance, the reconfigured 2020/2021 Season has been cancelled because of ongoing COVID concerns. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Verdi’s Don Carlo, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, and Puccini’s Tosca cannot be presented, even in the socially distanced, 90-minute presentations that were planned.
The Dallas Opera will return to glorious, full-scale grand opera productions in February 2022—one that includes three of the most popular masterworks ever composed and a fascinating modern opera that has received rave reviews since its 1998 premiere!
