Okay, so, we’re not one of composer Jake Heggie’s all-time-favorite cities in the world, at least not yet (We’re working on it). In the meantime, here are some of Jake’s other favorites things to ponder.
Jake, of course, is working with librettist Gene Scheer (August 4, 1964 being his most recent) on The Dallas Opera’s world premiere production of MOBY-DICK, based on the groundbreaking novel by Herman Melville. The work is slated to premiere in the Spring of 2010 in the new Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.
