Hart Institute for Women Conductors Concert

Celebrating five years since The Dallas Opera in 2015 launched a unique, new residential program—one of only three in the world—designed to provide training and career support for distinctively talented women conductors on the cusp of major international careers. This program of hands-on masterclasses, career development sessions, and industry insights from experts in their fields culminates in a one-time-only concert featuring these six rising stars in the opera conducting world.

This year’s concert will feature artists from Opera for Peace-Leading Young Voices of the World: a unique international opera-project reflecting the reality of today’s globalized world. Drawing upon the diversity of all cultural heritages while working towards a common goal of artistic excellence, they strongly aspire for the advancement of this lyric art form and promoting positive universal values – most importantly, mutual respect.
