World-renowned Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballe, who made her American debut with the Dallas Opera in our 1965 production of LA TRAVIATA, suffered a stroke and fell and broke her arm in Russia, where she was appearing in concert. More details here.  She is 79 years old.
