Singer Grades the Singing
It’s always especially interesting to hear how a singer judges the work of other professionals in their field, and that was the case with mezzo-soprano Laura Begley reviewing Friday evening’s Opening Night performance of the Dallas Opera’s revival of “Lucia.” Catch her review on the site “Operagasm.” She admitted that her biggest disappointment of the night was that EVERY seat in the house wasn’t filled for this beautifully rendered masterpiece.
