I am living for the day when we can pull this off in Dallas, without having to make people “work for peanuts,” as the organizing producer explained.

I do love the idea of bringing intimate/sexy/shimmering/thought-provoking operas into clubs and other smaller area venues but I find myself equally drawn to the idea of staging some serious “guerilla opera” in high profile and very, very public locations.

Preferably, at the height of rush hour.

Why don’t we let our imaginations run wild?  Where would you love to have a surprise encounter with opera (outside your home or apartment, we mean)?
