Although I doubt you’re going to be tremendously surprised, I need to let you know that posting will be light during the latter half of December. The Dallas Opera offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s and prior to that, I’m enjoying a too-rare family vacation with my outgoing son (moving to Chicago), my uber-studious daughter (briefly home from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore) and my hard-working husband.
I sincerely hope you and yours are happy, healthy, gainfully employed, fully insured and filled with the peace of this lovely season!
I also hope you will consider treating those you love to an afternoon or evening at the Dallas Opera in 2011. We have an exciting line-up this Spring: “Romeo & Juliet,” “Rigoletto,” and “Boris Godunov.” In fact, I heard the chorus rehearsing “Boris” late yesterday evening in the Winspear Opera House and it was absolutely breath-taking!
But I digress. Happy holidays to one and all! This charming wreath courtesy of poppiesflowershop.co.uk.
