Evidently, it’s true: “All good things must come to an end.” Although you mustn’t think Music Director Graeme Jenkins will be riding off into the sunset anytime soon!
Our much-loved Brit has two more complete seasons left on his current contract and will be back at the Winspear Opera House podium as “Music Director Emeritus” (who knows how often?) in the seasons after that. Graeme is preparing for a series of engagements with the prestigious Vienna State Opera and has a full-slate of summer performances scheduled before returning to the Dallas Opera next fall.
In short, there’s no reason to panic.
