Yes, folks, tonight is the night we’ll be tackling the ticklish topic of Modest Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov” (our 2010-11 Season finale) and the Tsar himself with guests Dr. Lonny Harrison, Visiting Assistant Professor and Russian Section Head at UTA and Dr. Christopher S. Anderson, Professor of Sacred Music for the Perkins School of Theology at SMU. It’s part of our “Baritones and Beachballs” casual summer events series presented by Skintastic. So, call now to reserve your seat for tonight’s conversation, 214.443.1044. It starts more or less promptly at 6:30 PM.
Be forewarned that due to the “Beauty and the Beast Performance” at 7:30 this evening, parking under the Winspear Opera House will be $15 (but we’ll be there first so, access won’t be a problem). You can also park for $5 at One Arts Plaza and take the Arts Shuttle to the Winspear, or in any of the surrounding surface lots. Just a heads-up from the powers-that-be.
Anyway, come and discover your inner “Russian soul.” I’ll be moderating; see you there!
