Arjuna’s Dilemma

Experience an exotic and appealing soundscape that combines elements of both the East and West in this visually-enhanced concert of Douglas Cuomo’s critically acclaimed opera about life’s biggest questions. Based on the ancient text of the Bhagavad Gita, the composer melds classical, jazz, chamber and Indian musical traditions to create a work of both sweeping grandeur and hushed intimacy. Critics have found it “gripping”, “gorgeous”, “astonishing”, and entirely original.
