I think the worst grade I ever received in my life was for a 7th grade home economics sewing project. So, forgive me if my design envy (along with my crooked seams) is showing. Check out this excellent article in “Theater Jones” about the true design genius behind the costumes in the Dallas Opera’s “Lucia di Lammermoor,” and what it takes to keep Peter J. Hall’s extraordinary creations in pristine condition, from performance to performance.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen “Lucia” yet…or you have–and you want to come back…please take note of the “Theater Jones” discount on single tickets mentioned at the end of this article.
