In This Best of All Possible, Possible, Possible, Etc.

It appears that, just as a few seasons back, the whole world was celebrating Mozart’s 250th…this year the focus is on the late composer/conductor Leonard Bernstein, who would have turned 90.

We’re especially interested because our new general director, George Steel, was a protege of the Maestro and still wears one of his pocket squares when he conducts.

If you’re a Bernstein aficionado--and it’s a great year to call yourself that--here’s a link to the favorite conducting and performance picks of The New York Times critics.

Enjoy!
