    Family Concert: Mozart and Company

    This year’s Family Concerts will present “Mozart & Company,” an original program designed to introduce the young and the young at heart to one of the world’s most well-known composers and his music. This terrific event will be guided by the composer’s mentor and close friend, “Papa Franz Joseph Haydn”, and features wonderful soloists and the superb Dallas Opera Orchestra under the baton of Keith Chambers.

    The Elixir of Love at Mountain View Community College

    Set in Texas, this version of Donizetti's The Elixir of Love tells a tale about a young man who hopes to win the heart of his true love, with the help of one Doctor Dulcamara and his mysterious potion! This performance is comedic, fun, magical and relatable; the perfect opera introduction.

    Come early to enjoy free pre-performance activities hosted by Mountain View College. Performance will be held in the Mountain View College Performance Hall.

    This highly-anticipated event is held each year to honor a family’s extraordinary commitment to the arts in Dallas. The 2015 recipients are Holly and Tom Mayer.
