The theme of the June 21st Social Science event will be Relationships.
Join the Dallas Opera Director of Production John Toia for an amazing exploration into the relationship between technology and opera. If you've seen the productions of Moby-Dick or Tristan & Isolde then you've had a little taste with even more to come with Death and the Powers opening February 2014.
There will also be a performance by Laurel Semerdjian of the Dallas Opera Young Artist program inspired by the 2013-2014 opera season "By Love Transformed".
Be sure to make a night of it as the museum will have various guest speakers, interactive demonstrations and discussions, performances, Portable Universe shows, and more. Also enjoy a special outdoor screening of the original Tron film in 35mm brought to you by their featured partner Alamo Drafthouse.
